My Portfolio

This is a small collection of work that I am extremely proud of. I hope that it can accurately portray my skills while also influencing others. To see more of my work, feel free to visit my Behance or Instagram pages.

Period Destination Poster

This piece was made for my History of Graphic Design class. We had to pick a time period that we studied and create a destination poster for it. I chose to use Athens, Greece as my destination because it’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to go. I chose Art Nouveau as my time period because I love the intricacies and details used in the art. I started by creating sketches of ideas and then I found a color palette and fonts that match. The art inside the framed circle is hand drawn digital illustrations while the rest was done through Adobe Illustrator.

Forced Connection

This illustration was crafted for my Illustration I class, where we were tasked with choosing an animal to personify using only black pens.  I brainstormed a range of ideas and combinations of animals with personified traits, creating small thumbnails to explore my concepts. Additionally, I experimented with different mark-making techniques to achieve the desired tonal values. I chose a kangaroo and I wanted to make him look like he was living in a country song. To capture that essence, I incorporated various stereotypical elements that evoke the genre.

Infographic Poster

This piece was developed for my Information Visualization class, where we focused on creating engaging infographics—a process I truly enjoyed. Our assignment was to design an infographic addressing a media-related trend, current affairs topic, or political issue. This poster went through several drafts before I discovered the most effective layout. Given the requirement to incorporate six different types of information, it was a challenge to fit everything in while maintaining clarity. Nevertheless, I believe the final design remains clean and organized.

Devon Cole: Two Shades Blonder EP Graphics

For my final senior project, I developed a three-part design series inspired by the work of one of my favorite artists, Devon Cole. The project includes an EP cover design, a poster design, and a t-shirt design, all created with this artist’s aesthetic in mind. I aimed to showcase both my illustration and design skills. This project serves as a strong reflection of the knowledge and techniques I acquired during my time at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
